La MaMa hosts a reading of The New School Presidential Visiting Scholar Lisa B. Thompson's Underground. A surprise reunion of two old college buddies forces them to ask how far they are willing to go to insure Black liberation. The political thriller will be directed by Zishan Ugurlu. Professor and Director of the Long Theater Program at The New School. The reading will be followed by a Q&A with the playwright.
